I really dig your rendition of DD. It's a shame you only got to do one issue of his title.

Very nice.  I really love this one.
I'm not a DD fan, but you force me to like him.  Which pretty much sums up why I bought all your books.

I think this is my favorite DD you've done. Love it.

The thing that really sells it is DD's body just looks like it has weight and dimension. You really pulled it off, JB.

I can't believe it took this long.

When I saw this around noon, I couldn't wait to get home and see how cool it would look upside down!

Look how cool!

You always nail the characters to a T.

The heavy line along the shoulders help establish the tone of the character. This is one of the best solo shots of DD that I've ever seen.

It has a certain Miller quality to it and yet it remains uniquely John Byrne as well. The shadows there are reminiscent of the way Miller and Janson portrayed him to me anyway. I've noticed that whenever you draw a character that is popularized by certain artists it always has the feel of those artists in the drawing, the Ditko Spider-Man villians were a good example and this Daredevil is too. I wonder if this is a way of staying on model of the best renditions of those characters? Whatever it is it works. I could throw pencils on the floor all night and all I get are broken pencils nothing ever falls out of mine.
