I mentioned upthread my dislike of the modern trend of putting Wonder Woman in armor, usually of vaguely ancient Grecian design. It seems such a blatant attempt to make her look less like a superhero. When I've discussed the issue online with other Wonder Woman fans, the response is typically some variation of how "realistically" that's what an Amazon would wear. Now I'll put aside the absurdity of discussing "realism" when it comes to a fictional superhero based on a mythological race. But the Amazons were not Greek; the ancient Greeks placed them in Asia Minor. They also lopped off one of their breasts so as not to impede their archery skills. So "realistically" Wonder Woman should be a single-breasted Turkish woman.
