I quite like the red top with a less visible double W. The belt I could keep too. But the rest is dreadful!!!
And I want her with curly hair !

Matt said - What idiot doesn't call what a superhero wears a costume?

Heck, I'd even settle for uniform, suit, clothes... not all technically correct either, but a bit more respectful than "underwear." At the very least, if he had used uniform or suit incorrectly, JB could have corrected the term because at least the journalist was trying to show some class.

Underwear? That just smacks of someone not taking the material seriously.

I fear the costume change may be ahead of another attempt at a movie, you know how movie people love messing with iconic costumes.

Which is the central problem. Even as millions of people flock to movie theaters around the world, to see the latest superhero movies, the COMICS from which they sprang still occupy their own private ghetto, as far from human consideration as possible.

Those "questions" Jodi posted -- most of them display, even if skewed, a FAR greater knowledge of the characters than most civilians (not a pejorative term) would ever admit to. They are, really, the kinds of questions one most often hears asked by the "geeks" themselves -- but those geeks who have reached the point where continuing to read superhero comics is no longer appropriate, and so, like drug addicts, affect a disdain and even hatred for the subject of their addiction.

"As JB has said here before - if these questions become that important to you that they ruin the stories for you maybe it's time to move on to something else."

***********

Like perhaps and Editor-in-Chief position at Marvel or DC.

••

I HOPE, Jodi, that you are suggesting that / should hold one of those positions, not that such a job is a good place to put the people who would ask those questions!!

Her heels aren't high enough. And she's just fighting generic goons in an alley... bummer.

I'm confused? Which happens often BTW :0)

But if someone suggested you would be a great Editor in Chief, I would agree with that.

Lynda Carter wore more than one uniform during the run of the show.

I don't think it is a big deal toget in arms about. Costumes change for a bit. They get peoples attention. They talk. This will hopefully drive a few more people to check out the important part...the story.  And in a while the costume will be gone. I will say it isn't my favorite. That one someone has already posted.  But it isn't my least favorite either.

I guess it isn't convincing me to drop the book.  But it isn't convincing me to pick it up either yet. But it did make me take a look at the preview.

On a side note, Matt, before I forget, Nope, I'm right. :)
(On a more accepting note, I don't believe we are going to see eye to eye. You think something as mocking and important and I think this is harmless with no malice meant and that there are more important issues. I will at least back off though and promise to teach at least two very important people to use the word trunks, or possibly skinny jeans, when referring to that part Diana's costume.
