Maybe JMS will get rid of Superman's embarassing red underpants if enough of his friends complain.

The cape, too. Jesus. Who walks around in cape these days?

On the bright side, it won't last. On the stumbling-around-in-the-dark side, if it's a different costume, a different origin and a different raison d'etre, why is it still called Wonder Woman? I don't understand either JMS or DC wanting to do Wonder Woman but with everything different.
If nothing stays the same, it's no longer that character, is it?

IMP.

I've already dropped the Wonder Woman monthly, this just tells me that I've got to remind my LCS not to bother with any of JMS trades either because I am not even giving this a chance.

I stuck through the Heinberg and Picoult runs (and Amazons Attack *shudder*) because at some point, I knew it had to get better. They were after all only on for one arc each, and I knew someone else would start whe it was over. When I heard Simone, I was ecstatic. This? No light at the end of the tunnel. I've officially stopped collecting Wonder Woman for the first time since 2003.

Good on you, DC!

Dear Jim Lee, I have a pair of skinny jeans that have been sitting in my closet since high school, which has been  mumble, mumble years ago, because one day, I would LOVE to put those on and they would fit.  Every woman on the planet has a "pair of skinny jeans" hiding in their closet, it is that one piece of clothing that makes you feel "hot", just lurking and waiting to be worn. And believe me as hot as WW looks in her correct costume, if I was her, I would NEVER take that thing off, I would frakking wear that baby to the grocery store.

So Jim Lee let her wear fashionable (which the new WW costume is not) street clothes during her down time, but for gods sake, let that woman keep her "skinny jeans" when she's kicking bad guy's butts.

Robert, I believe that Jodi is saying that IS Wonder Woman's "skinny jeans."

The same way Batman fights in a cape: It's all fantasy, and that's what it's meant to be.

LOL I completely understand Robert. The way I would make that version more updated, I would give her bottoms a higher leg hole, making her legs look longer.  All women know, you don't want to wear something that cuts and makes your legs look shorter.
