Sorry for the delay - I was indeed distracted by familial obligations.

I love the inking on the piece. Is it easier to ink the larger pieces vs the smaller ones?

Dear DC, Cut out the Morrison crap and the replacement Batman garbage already and get this Byrne guy to do about 100 issues of Batman! Seriously, nobody else captures Batman exactly as he's supposed to look and move and act the way you do in these commissions, JB. If there was any justice in today's comics industry you'd be writing and drawing a Batman monthly, preferrably with no crossover crap to interrupt it. And the villains all look damn good too.

HOLY CRAP Batman! This thing is freakin' amazing! WOW! redux This is incredible! Seriously, with that on the cover, that would sell hundreds of thousands of books. If only it were a cover to a sweet Byrne Marvel/DC crossover. DC has to get you to do at least ONE book with this awesome rendition of Batman for posterity's sake.

Dang this is so good, I like the night shots better, because the dark buildings in the background makes the figures pop more.........Oh hell, who am I kidding, I love both day and night shots.
This will take a spot in my top 10 commissions list.
JB any chance in the future you would be working on a Batman story?

A spectacular image!
And I sure would like to read a cross-over story based on that picture.

I think this is certainly one of the best Batman drawings to show up in a commission. The faces are great on all the characters, I love the nighttime buildings! Green Goblin is particularly good!
Looks like Batman's next move will have to be to flip up onto the Goblin Glider (avoiding Rhino's charge) but he better watch out for Vulture swooping in from behind!
Awesome all around.

I don't think Batman will go for the glider - unfamiliarity, booby traps... He's going to charge Vulture next - GG will have to release the cape and climb, or collide with his fellow Sinister Sixer. What he's gonna do is get a line around the glider and steer it into either the Rhino's fat face or Sandman's ugly mug - Sandman will be vulnerable thanks to the magnesium flare he ate just a few seconds earlier. I reserve the right to be totally wrong. I just enjoy the opportunity to speculate.
