Setting up that hit I was reminded of the old joke: Never hit someone wearing glasses! They might break and cut your hand!

For some reason I can't get over this one.  So much of it I love.

JB, did the commissioner ask that Doctor Octopus be the "main" villain that Batman is engaging?

No -- the choice of how the characters were interacting was left to me.

I like that idea! Now that I think about it, the Green Goblin is kinda like Batman's evil counterpart - successful businessman and genius that uses his scientific knowledge to create gadgets to help him commit crimes.

Put me down as third for Batman knocking Goblin off the glider and stealing it. That's exactly how I pictured this fight going, with Batman hopping on the glider and dropping a few capsules of something from his belt on Sandman to solidify him, before turning to deal with Vulture.

I tend to think Batman would do okay against Mysterio - after all, since he's faced Scarecrow's fear gas plenty of times, determining reality from fiction is something he's accustomed to.

Absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!

Where does one begin? The thrill of a perfectly executed crossover? The novelty of an original take on the classic composition of the Sinister Six attacking a lone hero?

It occurs to me that -- beside being a better tactician -- The Batman is far more agressive than Spider-Man. From the relative character positions and The Batman's full sprint posture I'd guess he anticipated where Dr. Octopus was most likely to be stationed at and took him out first. I'm guessing The Green Goblin is to be dealt with next perhaps by pulling him into the path of the Rhino's charge.

A story in a single drawing!

And that's Gotham back there, not NYC! Plus the Sandman and The Rhino whom one does not expect to be frequenting rooftops at the top of their form.

A treat on father's day, too. My thanks to all.

A companion piece with Spider-man taking on the Gotham villains would be awesome!

And let me add to the shouts of appreciation for that left hook to Dr. Octopus' kisser.  Pure Batman and no one draws a punch like you sir.

Its amazing how can I look at one commission and fall in love with comics all over again!  The story possibilities from this fantastic piece just set  my mind racing.
I am completely blown away by this piece. Wow.

Incredible looking to say the least.

It never gets tiring. JB continues to excite me with each commission no matter what size or what character(s) are involved.

I really wish he was drawing/writing Batman.

Seconded - I really like his new unique approach to Batman - but at the moment he has no official avenue for showing it off! It's a tragedy, I tells ya.

Batman 3D is still one of my favorite works of his. Pure perfection.
