I really like the face on Nefaria, as well. In fact, I think all the faces are particularly nice in this commission!

JB, Do you have a woman one also?

••

Assuming you mean a flayed figures, like the one in the picture, no. Don't need one. The muscles are the same!

YES, the commissions are back!  What stands out to me in this one is how Iron Man is trying to free the Hulk from the metal wrapped around him.  My first thought is "Why are you trying to do something impossible?" and then I answered "Because this is NOT impossible in comics, they way it should be!"  Thanks John for a great commission!

Speaking of Iron Man, I just saw the sequel yesterday. I loved it, andas the credits rolled, I literally shot up in my seat, pointed at thescreen, and exclaimed "Hey! John Byrne!" when your name appeared.

••

Still need to find out why that's there!

******

I still think it's because James Rhodes had a bigger part in this movie and you were the first person to draw him.

Don't forget, Wolverine fought Nefaria in one of his earliest adventures as an X-Man. Indeed, ol' Logan may still harbor some resentment over the outcome of that battle.

Seeing stuff like this makes me sad you are not working on these characters in a comic, because I want to read the story behind this scene. I want to know the build up to this moment and the resolution. This is what makes me want to buy a comic!

Ya got me there, Brian! I completely forgot about that! I'm going to have to turn in my "X-Men fan" card in over that!

In my slight defense, Nefaria in X-Men #94 was a lot different than the Nefaria in Avengers#165, so I didn't make the association.
