JB, of all of the changes that you have made to your style over the past few years, I'm most impressed with how you now draw thigh muscles, particularly the prominence of the center muscle. I know it sounds weird to point out but it really stands out to me at least.

Well, you made a great choice for the two Avengers you added -- Scarlet Witch and Iron Man are just about perfect here. Yours really is the definitive version of Wanda.

Nefaria looks really beefy! The clean blacks and whites of his costume are very striking, which is what you need with so much going on.

My personal tastes don't run to having Wolverine associated with the Avengers, but this could just been a fun crossover. Magneto vs Hulk would make for a really big struggle.

Fun!

Excellent job JB. This may seem weird, but I really like the buildings in the background.

*********

No way that sounds weird!  JB's detailed backgrounds are really one of the key things that set him apart from other comic artists who accept commissions and puts him right at the top of the heap.  I honestly can't think of any other artists who regular takes on commission work who offers such intricate backgrounds and specific settings for the pieces to take place in.  You'll get some generic, stylized backgrounds from lots of people but not much that compares to what Byrne gives you.  Bang for your buck indeed.

Thanks! I will credit that very much with having this fellow…

Has it been established that Magneto's power has no effect on Iron Man's armor?

JB, you keep whetting my appetite for more "classic team-ups" like this.  This is what kind of match-up I'd love to see, presented in exactly this manner!  Wolvering versus Count Nefaria, for the win...

---
JB touched on that in WEST COAST AVENGERS. Tony Stark did something to
his armor that kept Magneto's powers from having a direct effect on it. This
also kept the mutant from saving him when he fell from the sky.
