Next time in L.A., I'm showing up at your door to see this in person, Nathan. Jesus, that's a hell of a thing. Shaman is my favorite so far.

Being envious of Nathan Greno is now a full-time occupation. ***************************** Whereas I am trying to figure out how to be in his will.

The X-men could be pretty downbeat at times -- and Jean's death was downright tragic -- so it's nice to see a retrospective that is generally full of such unbridled joy. There used to be happy tradition at Marvel of including the occasional 'pin-up' that had a similar feeling. Back when Marvel comics were a bit more...fun.

I agree, Peter. I have long been a fan of smiling heroes!

Dazzler's left hand is another favorite spot on the drawing for me.

I hope there will be an Avengers-themed group shot someday.

Wow. Just...wow! Y'know, it occurs to me that this is a perfect compliment to the old FF piece JB did with all of the Lee/Kirby characters. Intentional, Nathan? I'd also love to see an updated version of that with all of the FF characters from JB's run!

I'm a big fan of the original (being a die-hard FF'er), but in many ways this surpasses it. Truly amazing piece.
