An updated link since it looks like he deleted it and re-posted.

Looks like that 2nd link AND Papendrea's JBF membership have been deleted.
(some) justice is served

Well, at least Nathan has an ORIGINAL great commission. I often wonder how people can sleep at night knowing they are profiting off others talent.
I've been on a Badfinger kick the last few days now, and the only surviving member (Joey Molland)makes his living singing or lip syncing (with Pete Hams vocals!!! don't believe me? See on Utube) Badfinger songs that he didn't even sing. You'd think you'd have enough pride in yourself to make your own mark or go install carpet instead if you couldn't.

Thanks for the support everyone. When you buy a commission from JB, part of what you pay for is a unique, one-of-a-kind original. Jon P has enough original comic art in his collection to understand this. His "recreation" is a slap in the face. He should know better.

A crook and a thief and yet he gets called out by Ian deep in a comission thread? What's a guy gotta do around here to have Ian start a unique thread on its own solely to question why someone gets to remain a JBF member?
Oh yeah. Be me.

Seriously though, Jon P.'s 'recreations' for sale mark him as a seriously douchey person.
(Whereas I like to think I'm a non-seriously douchey person. More of a comedic douche, if you will.)

I'm a douche, but I don't have to charge people money to achieve douche-ness. I don't know how to feel about that.

Feel good. You come by it naturally, and without effort or determination. Papendrea was actually working at it. So it was a goal of his, an ideal. And something he felt should be rewarded.

Here's a thought --- how's about we return this thread to enjoying Nathan's commision, before it ends up having to get locked down?

A capital idea!
Something I was wondering, Nathan - where do you hang a massive piece like this? Is this something for the office, for the living room, for a den, for the bedroom - what governs your thoughts on where you want this seen, and who you want to see it with you?

I have a small "game room" in the house -- foosball table, a few arcade machines -- the X-Men commission will be in there. Everything in the room is FUN... the commission will fit right in.
I'll post pics when it's up!
