Dear Mr. Byrne,

I asked this in a post I opened in the general forum, but I see it's been deleted so perhaps I did wrong and it belonged here. If that's the case, accept my apologies.

You see, I am enjoying this series tremendusly, but I just noticed you have put the last two entries (Dr. Octopus and Sandman) in a lower resolution than the first four, and when I have printed them at home, just for my personal enjoyement, they don't reproduce as well. I was wondering why the change in scanning resolution and if you could put Dr. Octopus, Sandman and the following entries in a higher resolution, as the first four entries. As I said, this is my favorite commission series and I would love to be able to enjoy them all at the same high resolution. I will be awaiting for your reply.

That's all. Thank you for making my childhood happier, and for three decades of comic-book enjoyment.

I posted higer-res scans of the commission pieces so people who wanted to could see them better, not so that people could print them out, or trace them and sell copies. The customers pay good money for something that is supposed to be uniquely theirs. I sort of assumed everybody would GET that. Since they apparently don't, no more hi-res.

I've never traced nor sold anything traced in my life, I just printed them on my home printer in paper to enjoy them better. I didn't think there was anything wrong with that. But I realize that some people might do what you said, so I understand your decission, although it's a pity that for the shady practices of some, we all have to pay for it.

Will we still be getting SLIGHTLY higher res scans of the big pieces ?

So much detail and work lost to us viewers at the low res.  I enjoyed scrolling around "inside" the higher res scans.

Let's see, Frank, English is not my native language, so perhaps I didn't understand you... are you insulting me? Because if that's the case, I wonder what the heck is going on here. My question was respectful, and my reply too... so what's the problem with you?
