I too agree that Paul Smith did a great job on the art. It was one of the only reasons for picking those two issues up!

The Finnish release of this miniseries was the first X-Men story I ever read, when I was about 10. It was in the classroom's reading cupboard and I must have read that copy dozens of times. It took me some time to find a copy to call my own and by then I had read several other X-Men stories, but this will always have a special space in my heart.

What a shame. Sounds pretty common place though. I'm glad you stuck to your guns. BTW, I actually had an Alpha Flight subscription. Man, I loved that book. Every bit of it.
