Petter, that's my choice, too!
Edit: for some odd reason, I can't think any particular picture of Spider-Man, despite he's my favorite.

Mike Deodato Magneto on New Avengers #20 cover (The Collective arc)
Not crazy with how long Wolverine's claws were, but I do like the reflections on his helmet.
I don't like how huge Cap's (Bucky) legs are draw...but other than that, I'm a huge fan of Immonen's art, glad to see him work on the Avengers franchise.

I like the way JB has Hawkman's helmet sit atop his head.

That reflection shot of Magneto is well executed -- but it's one of those drawings that bugs the heck out of me. At some point, as that image was being developed, did nobody say "Oh, hold on! Magneto has that crest/emblem/hood ornament thingie on the front of his helmet, so this shot doesn't work. . . !"

That IRON MAN 100 would be the single best drawing of the character ever if not for the nipples.

The appeal of that drawing completely escapes me. And it's not just the nipples.

Like those Hellboy pics, Paulo. There are so many great ones that I can pick just one.
This is one of my favorite pics of Madman:
It is Alex Ross' paints over Mike Allred's pencils. There was a 3-sheet poster done several years ago, which I have mounted in my office.

The first Issue of X-Men I ever read. When my dad passed his comic collection down to me, and the first comic I pulled out looked like this:
Later, at my uncle's house, I was on the couch when I saw this on the coffee table, as soon as I saw the artwork, I was hooked!
when I was able to finally go and buy some things on my own, I saw a (then new) comic Book store magically appear downtown. Immediately, this cover grabbed me and I still find it as inspiring as it did back then:
I've loved anime almost as much as I love comics. When the modern comic took a downturn in terms of overall quality, I started reading more manga. But when Alex Ross did this series, he captured everything I loved about comics and anime in one image. Since we're almost the same age and living at the time in the same place (Chicago). I knew exactly where he was coming from:
There are many, MANY more iconic images that I know I've glazed over, but these are the one that spring to mind at the moment. My love affair and main inspiration of JB's art and others started when I was about 5 and I've stuck to JB more than anyone else. But I'm privledged that I own their works, and it's still a joy to take them out every now and again as inspiration for my own artworks!

Who's the guy in the foreground? ---- Paulo, if you are referring to the Avengers drawing; that is Ronin. Ronin is Clint Barton's new ... whatever. This way Bendis could make him a marksman using any weapon, not just a bow.
