William,
Seeing all these various interpretations of Galactus made me wonder...as our resident Galactus super-fan, who are your personal top five artists to ever draw Galactus?

Ha! You can tell William has thought about that question before! I posted the question at 6:00 AM on a Sunday morning and have a response 20 minutes later!

I have three or four more but you asked for my top five! John (Byrne) is at the top of my list because he brought the grandeur back to Galactus, and, his art brings together the best parts of Jack Kirby and the other two Johns takes on the character. IMHO

That is virtually identical to my list! I'd squeeze Alan Davis and Art Adams in there, maybe just ahead of Moebius, but it's a VERY good list!

I am SO, SO, SO weary of people giving Galactus square pupils. This is a complete misreading of something I brought BACK to the character, which even Kirby himself forgot over the years. This is what Kirby originally drew: Not square pupils. Something clearly part of the helmet, in front of his eyes.
