Just spent half an hour or so clicking thru this thread. Ah, memories. And I remain amazed that so many artists can get Galactus just right, while so many more get him so very, very wrong!

(LOL... yeah, I know, there will always be times when it may be called for, when appropriate... but an image like this just doesn't do it for me...
