I'd love to ask myself what version of the Chameleon is better these days.  Is it the original, as Stan Lee and Steve Ditko created him back in the 1960s, or the current one who seems to have a superpower?  I'd like to think that the original, who had no super-powers but was such a gifted impersonator with the ability to assume disguises that only someone with heightened senses could tell that he wasn't who he was pretending to be.

I think it's really the face that does it for me.  JB's work / style is so distinctive yet I see nothing of it in the face.  Not that I mean that as a bad thing : )
