Holy crap! John Byrne managed to not only find Steve Ditko, he got him to draw a picture of Chameleon dressed as Spider-Man! That's talent - I thought Ditko never wanted to discuss the subject again.
Kidding aside, that is stunning! The webs, the pose, the style - it all screams 1963! Can't wait to see the Vulture, Doctor Octopus, and Sandman... These are going in order, right? The is gonna be an awesome Spring Break!

Nice one, JB. One look and you know it is the Chameleon.

Yeah this one is awesome. So much cool stuff going on in this pose. I always find it incredible how JB can get so much in on these "mini's". I know who is doing this series but I will let them toot their own horn! =)
Amazing work, JB!

Love the Chameleon, his face is great. The webbing has a very Ditkoish vibe. Nice, fun commission.

You know what I HATE* about your art, John? It only gives me ideas for MORE COMMISSIONS.
Very NICE Ditko-esque piece. Looking forward to the solo Mysterio.
