Maybe I am just in a sidekick mood today.

I miss Dick Grayson's original Robin costume, as we as his original Nightwing get up.

Tim Drake's first Robin costume (which just really added the dark green full length pants and the black/yellow cape) was a winner for me.

Every attempt to update since has been lost on me. His Red Robin costume is awful, and the new Robin's costume is not so hot.

Sorry, Michael Todd, I assumed that because it was great, someone had felt the need to improve it, again.

How about this one?

I feel like a common point among the defunct nature of the costumes is how yellow is kind of frowned upon. Seems like modern coloring really dislikes the yellow.

There's the Sentry for predominant yellow, and he's almost universally reviled. At least I hope so.

Nova's costume lost a lot of yellow as well.

Is there a yellow bias? Sinestro went to yellow, which makes sense beyond just Geoff Johns' ridiculous storyline.

Professor Zoom has to be yellow, but he's lost a lot of coolness and I don't even know what the deal is with the character now.

Robin is only cool in yellow right now because Grant Morrison says so.
