"Tam...?

You are trembling...

Strange... Now that I have said it aloud -- I know what a soul name is and what it means.

Cutter -- Blood of Ten Chiefs -- all that you are is -- Tam."

For all the wrong reasons. Totally out of character for Superman.

Too sadistic of Superman, Chief?

Good lord ... the quality of the faces in that Captain America excerpt!  Amazing.  I'd forgotten how good they were.

This scene from the back up story of What If? #37, In this tale Hank McCoy`s mind mutates along with his body changing him from a brilliant young man to a snarling beast.  The sad thing is despite his plea Professor X does nothing to try to help him but rather exiles him to the Savage Land to hunt alongside Ka-Zar & Zabu.

FF 40: The Thing owns (or pwns, if you must) Dr. Doom! Simply one of the most entertaining sequences I've ever read.

My moment is also from "God Love and Man Kills" but at the end where the X-Men confront the Stryker and Cyclops says (dont have the comic in front of me)"Your Goons are beaten and your toys are broken." And Scott begins to debate him and Stryker calls out Kurt as some demon then Kitty responds...

Then a Police officer shoots Stryker before he can shoot Kitty. Some of the best writing by Chris. A scene that has stuck with me ever since.

The end of the Masters of Evil sieging Avengers mansion, when Captain America is rummaging through the debris. He finds a picture of his mother torn in half and he begins to cry. Love that scene.
If it happened today, it would lose a little impact. Captain Marvel could just tell him to take it to that kiosk at the mall and they can fix it right up.
