I was going through some scans I have to post on the thread about the "Captain America" movie in the Movies section of the site, and I thought it would be fun to post a gallery of the original "Captain America Comics" series. I all ready have scans of each cover, but while searching for better resolution scans on Google, I was led to a fantastic website that is a wonderful resource for fans of Marvel/Timely/Atlas Comics from the 1940's through the 1950's era. Check out this site: http://www.atlastales.com/ There is a LOT of cool information and scans there! So, I thought that in addition to posting Captain America covers, it would be cool to also use this thread to start a discussion about the Timely-Atlas comics. I noticed many interesting things about them while going through the Atlas website. I will post about some of the things I noticed after I finish posting the Captain America cover gallery. What do YOU think of this era of Marvel Comics history?
