The characters "native to DC" have not exactly fared well in that time, either (eg Barbara Gordon, Supergirl, Barry Allen, Hal Jordan, Aquaman, Elongated Man).  Not to mention the silly stuff that's been done with Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.  Is there a single major DC character that hasn't been killed off (and/or resurrected), had their personality totally changed, been replaced by someone else, or inappropriately darkened in the past 25 years?

Well, Frank Miller has a website now... it just officially launched.

He kicked it off with a massive tribute to Brittany Murphy... who was his friend and sister... even though he admits to only working with her for 2 weeks.

He uses just about every "dead person" cliche, including that the world is darker because Brittany Murphy isn't in it.

This guy really use to be able to write, but a couple years in Hollywood went straight to his head, it seems to me.

Jason, I don't know why would you include Barry and Hal in the list. They're back and it's like nothing bad ever happened to them. COIE and Emerald Twilight no longer seem to be in continuity.
