What's even more interesting to me about GA Vision is the character concept; he's a law enforcement officer from "smokeworld", who is accidently contacted by an earth scientist, and comes to our planet to fight crime. Martian Manhunter, anyone?

Similar, but Jonn` Jonnz` wasn`t a Martian cop nor was he coaxed to come here, rather his arrival was an accident but still the core idea is close.

Two in my collection that come to mind are Wow Comics 45 and Plastic Man 16 (both from the late 40's). I also have a copy of Sensation Comics (the Wildcat story is the first appearance of the Huntress), though unfortunately, it's coverless.

Here's a strange question for all you owners of very old comics - what does a 1930's-40's comic smell like? Do they have a distinctive smell? Is it like 60's or 70's comics?

Koroush, they smell as heavenly as the silver age. Ed, since you own an early Charlie Chan appearance I was wondering if they were full stories or just comic strip reprints. After I finish my regular run of Chan comics, I was hoping to find his earlier stuff like the comic you have. I was wondering what to expect. Thanks. The cover for your Big Shot comics is awesome.
