"I'm Brian! And so is my wife!"

(Sorry, just had to throw that in there...)

C'mon folks, John has weighed in on this already.  The pile on isn't necessary or warranted.

Ok... I really had to search for this in the art archives, but here is the panel in question. The shirt reading "BYRNE VICTIM" is obscured, but I recall intending it to look a bit like John's signature. The guy with the beard and glasses, to the right side of the panel... hmm... who could that be?

Enjoy,

Matt

It looks like it says Byrne Victo... something. Definitely an 'o' after the t there, so not sure how that could spell victim.

You're completely right, Koroush! I am a professed bad speller, though, I'm better at it now than I was back then. :) This was taken from a xerox of the original art. I'm certain it was changed at some point, but not when these copies were made. I'm not sure percisly where the original art is now, as I have  too many files of illustrations to know exactly where it might be. Still, for what its worth, there it is.

:)

Maybe it was originally "Byrne Victorious" on that T-shirt, and now you're surreptitiously trying to bask in the glory of having invented the phrase Byrne Victim!

Anyway on a serious note the art seems quite good, clearly Byrne-influenced.
