He should've done something about the boots, come to think of it.

I like the way Neal broadened out the bat symbol to fill out the chest a bit more - kinda reminds me of what JB did with Superman's chest shield.

I'd also like to see the middle area of Neal Adams' Batman design from another angle.  Adams can make almost anything look good, but I don't care for the lines on the boots.  That Mazzuccelli-drawn Batman is nice.

Day Two - That new Adams Bat-Belt is like a damn Rorschach test. What on Earth is it?

Those lines on the boots were supposed to be staps that helf other tools/weapons underneath but it is a horrible counter-design to the way the boots look and looks awful and out of place...

I don't like the bat design either because it does not look like a bat so much as some weird design similar to Dr. Strange's tunic symbol.

I'll be in the minority but I really like Gary Frank's new costume design and feel he works way better on Batman than he does on Superman who in my opinion he makes look ugly and angry with all of his hard line work. For Batman it works however.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the Adams. It at least still looks like Batman designed for superhero comics without the Hollywood superfluous details of seams and ridges and wrinkles. I can see other artists using the Adams design and having it work. I cannot see anyone making the Quitely design look good.

Maybe Neal Adam's would make that Quitely Batman design look good Ed or even Gary Frank!

I like both the Batman and Superman designs in the "Earth One" Graphic Novel line. And I think Superman kind of looks like Tom Welling.
