Seams!  Let's make it real easy for the next movie costume people!

This was fun design!  I wish people remembered:

IT'S ALL LINES ON PAPER, FOLKS!

I have to agree that Batman's costume works better with trunks.

I can't really tell what's going on around the waist, or what those lines on the boots are for. I think I'd need to see it in color.

On the whole, it's tough to fix what ain't broke.

What's with the stripes on the boots, and how come the belt area seems like it has a giant buckle of indiscriminate shape?

I'd honestly need to see that from a different angle to make heads or tails of it. Because of the shadows, it looks like he has handle bars attached to his... self.

Hey Ray - way to beat me to the punch while I went to grab the last of this season's Egg Nog.

Adams changed the utility belt into a tool belt.  Theoretically, those are Batman's tools and weapons hanging from straps around his waist.  It's probably the same principle around his boots, the lines represent straps for some equipment.  At the time, someone commented that his hi-tech suggestions made Batman too similar to Iron Man.  Seems he also took a different approach to the trunks problem.
