If we have to live in the past, I second the vote for Fantastic Four Forever, picking up from the giant statue and ignoring everything that came afterward. (I would also love to see Danger Unlimted Forever; different publisher, same idea.)

But, what I'd love to see is John Byrne's Marvel Universe, an ongoing title where Mr. Byrne would have complete access to all the toys without the restraints of external continuity.

This had absolutely NO APPEAL to me...until I saw that artwork.  WOW!  Panosian has changed, MUCH for the better.  But what's the deal with Bobby looking so much younger?  Wasn't he an accountant in or just before X-Factor #1?

Bobby was fresh off college. The art IS great. Dan Panosian has been great for many years. I had his site bookmarked since 2003 or something.

I'd like a follow  up to Spellbound with Terry Shoemaker. That was my favorite thing from Louise Simonson. :0

Dan Panosian is now better than he was in the 90s.

It's good for an artist to improve!

Not too keen on the "biker shorts" on the Beast. That seems to be the default for characters who used to wear trunks. ( Like the Thing). Seems to me guys like Hank and Ben would opt for some that covers their "modesty" and not much else for comfort's sake.

Panosian's work looks pretty darn good to me. He looks to be a fine choice for this mini-series.

This >< close? ARGHHH!!! You're killing me. What could have been.

Yes, he was.  Got no explanation for Bobby's appearance here, but he was definitely an accountant during that period.

Disappointed to hear that JB isn't isn't gonna be doing a Forever title, especially since it was apparently close to being a deal.

It is interesting that the series is being done Marvel style. I wish more comics were being done that way.

It came this><close. Then a fellow writer described to me the conditions under which he is working on something similar-but-different at Marvel, and I knew at once it could never work.

-----

JB, have you spoken/emailed with Chris Claremont regarding X-men Forever and how he's being dealt with?

Thanks.

According to online rumours, Chris' limited to 8 characters in the book. I would've liked alot more! I wonder if star creators really get to write whatever they want or if it just seems that way and they get alot of restrictions to work with behind the scenes.
