Yes Busiek did a book called "Avengers Forever" but it was not in the vein as X-Men Forever or X-Factor Forever. The conceit of which is continuing interrupted storylines.

This sounds like a lot of fun. Love Louise's run. Can't wait to see what she does with it. So if we were going to pick one of JB's interrupted storylines (and only one) which would you pick? I am leaning towards WCA.

All of them, only one? Where's the fun in that. I agree though WCA for me.

I like Louise's work just fine, but this is a continuation of a really bad idea. At least it's only a mini-series.

I don't see how it is a continuation of bad ideas. X-Men Forever has turned out well. My kid loves it. He gets it and needed no explaining that it is different from the other X-Men book. Just like he gets that about Wolverine and the X-Men, X-Men Evolution, and the X-Men movies. If an 8-old-gets it, and likes it, how is it a bad idea?

…I still would rather see a JB series of this nature. •• It came this><close. Then a fellow writer described to me the conditions under which he is working on something similar-but-different at Marvel, and I knew at once it could never work.

You know JB, your happiness isn't really important to us - you should do the project anyway!
