First Issue of the Titans I bought, mostly because it featured the "super friends" on the cover, and looked cool.  So I guess this is also my first Justice League comic too.

There's a million of 'em, but here's the main ones - the Super Friends of the 70s is where I first saw Superman and who was to become the Justice League in comics. I never really got into Superman for some reason...maybe because whenever I saw him on the newsstands he was part of a team and pushed back.

Like many here, I saw the Super Friends cartoon before I ever read any comics about the Justice League, but this was the comic that introduced me to the JLA.

And I tell you, every one of these books were bombastically blowing my mind. I thought the Kirby love would never end, as I was picking up these issues in back issues while Kirby was disgorging Machine Man, Captain America/Falcon, and the Eternals at the same time. PLUS, we had the reprints coming out from Pocket Books and Fireside Books.

It was a massively tremendous time to love Kirby and comics in general!

My first Black Widow (kind of disturbing to my 4-year old eyes at the time... she gets cut up pretty badly in this one!):

Marvel Team-Up 1972 1st Series 57

My first Conan the Barbarian (Ernie Chan is right up there with Kirby and Kane in terms of gorgeous covers!):

Conan the Barbarian 1970 Marvel 75

My first Shang-Chi!
