William, I had that issue of MTIO as well! It's a little unsettling to look at that and realize how much affection I have for it even today!

First Terrax, I was 4 years old. And like, it was a black and white french reprint.

It also had this and issue 212 in it, so those were my intro to the Fantastic Four:

I liked the lousy 70s characters. I liked Gabriel the AirWalker too. For some reason, the FF comics freaked me out (probably for stupid reasons ; } ). But I liked them and wanted to read more.

My first X-Men <3 (mine was a rerprint too) I was sssix years old. I found it at my babysiter's house. I kept rereading this and giant size #1. I really liked Polaris best, boy was I being set up for some major disapointment later!!! First Avengers was teh Korvac Saga. I thought it was really dull. The Avengers had to take the bus and Korvac was so boring. :(
