The title has a double meaning?
===
Since it's the Avengers, there the whole "Avengers Assemble" aspect.
And then, since it's two (or four) that when assembled together make one

Other than Mr. Bradley's mention of him, I think that Hercules absence here is unfortunate.  And since Hellcat was added, Black Widow would have already been an "official" team member prior to Patsy's arrival. A later version of Shellhead wouldn't have hurt either. No complaints though, just waxing nostalgic.

Outstanding work by JB, and probably an ecstatic commissioner reaction notwithstanding, so much of the Avengers history is represented by the character selections that it would just be nice to have had the Lion of Olympus present and accounted for alongside his avenging pals.

Man, I never thought Hellcat and Mantis could look so beautiful. But, then JB always draws beautiful women :)

"The Official Handbook of the Avengers Universe"

Wow.  Great.  Super.  All nice words but none seem to really express what I get from seeing art from JB like this.  I don't think it sounds like enough praise but what I really get is a "I WANT TO READ THIS" emotion.  Every time one of these cool commissions with classic Marvel/DC characters gets posted it makes my brain want to read the story that goes with it.

I don't get that from all--or most of the pinups of comic art that I see.  "Nice pinup" is one thing but JB's have a knack for seeming like "real" characters that live in an actual world.

God, would I love to see this Avengers comic book.
