I really miss the old Snapple sodas that they used to make until the early 90's...Cherry-Lime Rickey, Clear Root Bear, Vanilla Cream, Chocolate.....sigh.

Starbucks Banana Frapps. One summer and gone forever (ok, like 3 years, but I was obsessed with them).

Speaking of Starbucks -- their Banana Coconut Frapacinno was a great delight for a couple of summers. My diet is rather glad it is no more, mind you! Also my blood pressure! At the same time they were offering the Banana Coconut coffee drink they were offering a non-coffee based Banana & Cream concoction. I lost count of the number of times I ordered the former and got handed the latter. At one point I asked the manager if it did not seem a trifle absurd that in a STARBUCKS I had to put extra emphasis on the fact that I was ordering the COFFEE drink!

Yeah, same summer, you could order the banana drink with or without the coconut. I really wish they'd bring it back. They did orange the following year which was awful. I'm drinking the pumpkin frapps now, they are back through Thanksgiving more or less.

Oompaa's (SP) from Willy Wonka. They were candy-coated, half peanut butter half chocolate. They looked a lot like M&M's, only bigger. They were my favorite candy as a kid and they just disappeared. For awhile, I looked for them every time I went into a new store, whether I was actually wanting candy or not.

Lipton's Orange Iced Tea mix; the most delicious experiment they ever conducted in, if I recall, the Summer of '77 or '78; apparently unsuccessful (at least in NY) - it was never repeated...>sigh!<

As I understand it, the McRib is regional and often comes back for limited runs outside of those regions.Emphasis on the word "runs".
