Bought them last time I was at Bethany Beach at a specialty toy store, Darren. Not as good as I recalled - root beer flavor was painful!

Sorry to hear that David.  The root beer ones were my favourite.

Bottlecaps were one of my favorite candies when I was a kid, too. My favorite flavor was the cola, though.

I thought they quit making them, too, until I saw some boxes of them at Wal-Mart several months back and bought a couple then bought another box a week or two later. Unfortunately, I haven't seen them there any more.

Amazing that this thread has morphed entirely about food.

Food sometimes is underrated... not here, though.

A & W cream soda. It was like a smoother, richer, less sweet version of cream soda with a reddish brown color. Very surprised when that got discontinued.
