Also, BBQ pizza at Pizza Hutt during the 80's and early 90's. Most amazing pizza ever!

Bought them last time I was at Bethany Beach at a specialty toy store, Darren. Not as good as I recalled - root beer flavor was painful!

Sorry to hear that David.  The root beer ones were my favourite.

Amazing that this thread has morphed entirely about food. What, nobody cares what happened to there favorite mini sedan from the 70's and 80's? No wondering what happened to the Ford Pinto, or the Yugo?

Which reminds me of a pretty good joke.
-Why did the Yugo finally put a rear window defroster on its later models?
-To keep your hands warm while you pushed it.

Bottlecaps were one of my favorite candies when I was a kid, too. My favorite flavor was the cola, though.

I thought they quit making them, too, until I saw some boxes of them at Wal-Mart several months back and bought a couple then bought another box a week or two later. Unfortunately, I haven't seen them there any more.

A & W cream soda. It was like a smoother, richer, less sweet version of cream soda with a reddish brown color. Very surprised when that got discontinued.

It must be a regional thing. I had one of these today. It was delicious.

Anyone remember Chinese Chicken Nuggets at McDonald's?  May even be how the nuggets were originally introduced.

Ah, yes. McNuggets Shanghai. They weren't the first ones, but I remember them being a few years after the original's introduction.
