Ah, the cover of Alpha Flight #51. �It's hard to see in the final version posted, but in the inked version you can see very clearly the "US ARMY" patch on the soldier in the lower right corner. �In the actual issue, the soldiers attacking Alpha Flight were Canadian soldiers, this is a known error. �You can see that it's not in the penciled version, so now we know who did it.

Kevil Nowlan wants the US Army to invade Canada!!!

You can see that it's not in the penciled version, so now we know who did it.

It's very plainly clear in the pencils. Nowlan was being faithful to the pencils.

I wanted to post the panel from Xmen509 by Fraction/Land where Northstar accepts Wolverine's offer to join the Xmen. Made me cringe. Couldn't find it on the net.

45 was one of my favorite covers.

As for 51, I assume you pulled those from Nowlan's site. I was
disappointed to see in his comments he thought the white Sasquatch on
the cover was Wendigo.

As for the "U.S. Army" patch, I see Carl Potts wrote the note asking for
Kevin to ink the cover. Since he was the book editor at the time how did
he miss the blunder?
