They should have tried to find better artists for some of those cards .

Why did editors not have the guts to tell an artist when they redesign a costume that their redesign sucks? Now get back to work and draw the correct costume. Don't redesign a costume just because you can't be bothered to look at reference pictures - this is a job you know
