Found some better pics of those AF TPBs -- Why can't we get the rest of the Byrne series in the US??

Byrne was always revered in Spain. I have lots of comics from Spain and when you read the letter columns it's obvious that Byrne is very important for them. So that's why they always reprint his work with special enthusiasm.

I have a headache.  I actually like the idea of him coming back asSmart Alec, I didn't know that happened. The rest would put a man in anasylum.

I never understood the convoluted ways people tried to bring back Sasquatch.  It was so simple.  In AF #24, JB had Shaman mention that if Walter's soul had not ressurected Talisman, Northstar, and Aurora in the realm of the beasts, he'd have the strength to integrate the crumbled form of his petrified body.  He couldn't, so they needed Box as a temporary "container."

We never saw the petrified remains after that. but there is no reason why it couldn't have been kept.  And after a reasonable interlude, or with some patented comics wackiness, his soul would have regained enough strength to re-assemble his body again.

Some more Ken Steacy Alpha Flight. The art inside is good, but isn't done in airbrush like his Ironman story.

I recall thinking they were going to make Aurora and (female) Langkowski a lesbian couple.  That would have been too funny.

I'm not sure that, that would really make Aurora or Walter "Wanda" lesbians since Langkowski was really a man stuck in a woman's body. That's one can of worms not likely to ever come up in the real world, thank God.
