I recall thinking they were going to make Aurora and (female) Langkowski a lesbian couple. That would have been too funny.

That is an awesome page on eBay. From one of my favorite Byrne issues of Alpha Flight, too. Two pages later -- "...they'd never seen a human before..." (ala Star Trek: The Cage / Menagerie)
