I was recently looking through an Alpha cover gallery...suprising how long I actually stuck with the book after JB left, especially considering how bad it got so fast!  I made it well into the 50's...sure was hoping those characters would come out of their funk.

Those covers start out great, nathan, but seem to progressively get worse!

I still don't get how other artists (pencillers, inkers, colors... whoever was responsible) thought the twins' hair was white!

One of the best designs in the history of comics (imho) --



--it's amazing how it was butchered over the years... (also: it's amazing that people seem unable to draw the maple leaf design!!!) --
