I can't see any harm coming from this.
As my brother mentioned, can we imagine how cool Disneyworld/Eurodisney/Disneyland with Spider-Man, X-Men, FF, Iron-Man, Cap etc in them will be? That is simply an amazing . As a new father, this perspective in the next five years when my son is old enough is more than welcome.
Pixar films with the X-Men also sounds amazing.
Finally, if they can stop producing images like the awful things Orlando posted earlier, I will be grateful. That just isn't Marvel, that's an atrocity.

A friend of mine works at Disney and said the plans he's heard would let Marvel's Movie Studio at least, continue on its own as long as it remains profitable. If they start to slip, then the Disney-types will come in.

This fear is destroying the lifes of Italian "fans".
Just as Disney is only Mickey Mouse, for them*.
I mean, Warner owns DC, but Superman or Batman aren't Merrie Melodies!
Anyway, I don't think Disney will touch the comics division. What they really care are the movies, cartoons, merchandising... and with Disney's money Marvel's characters could receive some advantages.
*Maybe Mickey would be more appealing for "mature" fans if they'd knew he used animals as musical instruments when he debuted! That's VIOLENCE!

Okay, is that Punisher page on the last page supposed to be telling a story of some sort? All I see are three panels not connected in any way other than that the Punisher is in all of them.

Didier - that's brilliant. You should be doing commissions.I see that under this deal Disney gets the rights to 5000 Marvel characters. That takes care of the X-Men. What about Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and the rest? :)

I hope this doesn't dissapoint anyone but it will be quite a while before Disney can do anything with Marvel characters. Similar to when they bought the Muppets, they will have to wait until they have full control of the rights to the characters. Marvel has pre-existing licensing deals, film production & TV distribution agreements with many companies. Sony has Spider-Man, Paramount has Iron Man, Fox has the X-Men and Universal has the Incredible Hulk. Disney will have to sit on those characters for years until they have the rights to the characters for such projects. Remember, the deal isn't finalized yet.
