I love that stone texture. I'm doing that in a cartoon I'm working on. Not as effectively as you did in this piece, disappointingly.

As long as the backgrounds are being discussed, this is where I should probably mention, for those of you who like to keep track of such things, that the backgrounds on this were done without any pencil layouts, just the usual perspective grid. (That's excluding the chimney in the foreground.)

Wow. There are so many cool elements to this. Mr. Mind is a treat! The backgrounds, the perspective, Mary's costume, Spidey's pose. Wow.

Really like this piece. The Spiderman is great and one of my favorite elements is the chimney in the foreground!

I like how the background architecture is "bright", instead of heavy shadows. I assume the heavy shadows would match a Batman/darker characters, and the bright matches the "lighter" characters.
