Discovered Sal's work on the Hulk, and still consider him the definitive Hulk
artist. Underrated guy indeed.

I've heard other artists call Ron Frenz "the third Buscema brother," since his style owes a lot to theirs.  Maybe that's the source of that rumor...

Great! I grew up on Sal Buscema's Hulk, and therefore he's kind of become my Definite Version of Hulk.
But I also love the works of JB and Dale Keown on the title.

Huge fan of Sal's and I will be picking up this book. I had him do this great reinterpretation of the first apperance of the ufoes and he knocked it out the park.

The greatest Hulk ever is drawn by Sal Buscema and inked by Ernie Chan.  In the history of the character, that artist combo has never been beat, IMHO.

TwoMorrows can do no wrong....it's getting to the point where I have to buy each one of their special books as well as BackIssue and Modern Masters!

I loved his run on Captain America! And who can forget NOVA!

One of the all time greats!

Speakin of Modern Masters...The JB issue...EVERYtime I see new artists on the Fantastic Four...my mind's eyeball compares how JKirby drew them, then how JB drew them and how anyone following drew them....

and they've all been ... falling short.

Back to SAL!

His Warriors Three ! Of course his HULK...Man the memories are FLOODIN back!

Same here, though it took me a while to appreciate even that. I was at first disappointed that Walt Simonson didn't pencil those issues (and still am, kind of) but Sal did a great job and I'm glad there was one issue (380) where the two collaborated on the art.

Some of my all-time favorite Hulk comics were drawn by Sal.

I wrote him a fan letter when I was younger and he took the time out of his day to write a (then) young kid a card back showing his appreciation for me being a fan.  I thought that was really cool.
