To me, JB's Wolverine looks more like a specific person.

The specific person JB's Wolverine makes me think of is Bob Hoskins. If he
had hair and was in shape ofc. Am I crAzy? Don't answer that.

There was a specific person, as I have mentioned from time to time:

Cool pic, JB.

Really like the inking on the outer left arm and the underside of his right.  Similar to the Atom and Daredevil commisssions from Feb 07 and the Superman from later that year.  Really like the way the chiselled effect in those lines.

A couple of quick questions about the inking on this one, that may seem random and trivial; Did you ink the claws on the left hand before or after the left leg? And did you use any sort of mask or just ink the sections of the leg seperately?

Thanks.

----------

I can totally see Jean "falling" for that guy.  What I don't see is that guy falling for Jean.

Where did Dave get that hairstyle from? Except for Ataru's
father from Urusei Yatsura I don't think I ever saw it
before.

Holy mother of pearl! The inking on that piece is perfect. The pulling on the collar is a nice touch. I look forward to seeing the rest.

Care to walk us thru that reasoning?

Paul D'Amato is Wolverine, Paul Newman is Green Lantern... who else from that cast are superheroes?
