Did Dave Cockrum and George Perez have a competition to design the most difficult costume to draw?  I think George won with Jack of Hearts, but with this Wolverine schmatta, Dave was a contender.

Edited to add: Sh*t!  I keep forgetting to express my appreciation of the posted artwork.  Great job, JB!  And, thanks again, Atilla!

Love the look of annoyance on Wolverines face.  Definitely a costume you wouldn' t want to draw page after page after page....!

Michael,

The other Perez costume that is very complex is the Gypsy Scarlet Witch from his last run.

Great piece JB.

Do you happen to remember what month (or months) in '07 these were done?

I always did love the distinctive face you gave Logan. (Yes, Dave Cockrum created his face, but you improved on it!)

I totally agree. Anytime I think of Wolverine, It's Mr.Byrne's version that tops the list for me. What a great commission!

Considering how many awesome costumes Cockrum designed he gets a pass on  this one, but man.

Personally, I always loved the "fang" costume. Great commission JB, as usual. Congrats to the commissioner!
