Just Google "La saga du clone".

I like Ben Reilly's Spider-Man costume.

Just a shame that Marvel didn't have the courage of their convictions and go with Ben Reilly as the real Spider-Man.

At the risk of having my home torched and my cats beaten...

I LOVED the Ben Reilly /Spider-man 2.0 costume and thought Peter should wear it out of respect for his lost "brother".

(I know, even I knew it wouldn't take. M***** was looking to put as much distance between themselves and the CLONE SAGA as
they could possibly get!!!!)

I'm all over this mini-series when it's released.

Whether you liked the saga or not, can we all agree this costume was
REALLY cool?!

It suits May to a tee.

I enjoyed the Clone Saga for what it was at the time.  In retrospect it is a little too long and makes for tiresome re-reading.

I'll definitely be picking up this latest outing into the Clone-verse.

I am really looking forward to this mini-series. I only read a few of the issues of the original Clone Saga (was out of comics at the time), but from those that I read, I didn't think that it was the horrible spectacle that most people claim it is. I thought the character of Ben Reilly was an intriguing variation of Peter Parker, and I liked the Scarlet Spider outfit as well; in fact I thought that he should have remained the Scarlet Spider, rather than taking on the mantle of Spider-Man.

See... I wouldn't re-read it, because it is full of two many bad memories for me. Then again... I have many wonderful memories associated with working with my fellow writers--and a few editors-- we had some of the most amazing meetings, lunches, dinners, drinks, etc... I am going to refrain from quoting Dickens.

Howard, count me among those who are very excited to read this. As a reader at the time, it all seemed artificially "padded" after a while. When I found the LIFE OF REILLY blog, my suspicions were confirmed. Why let the story end when we can keep milking it? Yeah, right!

Can't wait!

Believe it or not, the Trial of Barry Allen did not last nearly as long as people think, it just felt that way!  The trial began in #340 and ended at #350, which also marked the end of the series.

It's true that the actual trial began in issue #340, but the storyline itself started with issue #324 when the Flash kills Professor Zoom and is arrested and charged with manslaughter.  So it's really more like 26 issues that storyline drags on, though the final 10 issues with the trial are certainly the most tedious of the lot.

I remember being shocked by the issue in which Barry accidentally killed Zoom.

Oh the joys of pre-Internet spoiler days!!!
