In the color notes, I used to indicate she was a "Jimmy Olsen redhead".

(Damn, I miss that Wolverine!)

Thanks, me too.

Hmm thinking of Jimmy Olsen when I look at Heather is
unfortunately going to knock her down a few pegs in the
attractiveness department.

I never intended Heather to be a Great Beauty anyway. I wanted her to have a real Girl Next Door quality -- sort of like the Playmate of the Month had before Hefner moved to Beverly Hills and all the girls next door had implants and other surgical manipulations.

Well to me the girl next door types are great
beauties(especially redheads), bleach blondes with silicon
and collagen lips turn my stomach.

She probably has a push-up bra. :)

At least she doesn't look like Power Girl in that area...

I would like to see a Spider-Man Forever book co-written by Roger Stern and David Micheline that takes place shortly after Spider-Man got the black alien costume.

I bought and read X-MEN FOREVER #1 today. Did Storm and/or Kitty
sound a little out of character to anyone else who's read the issue?

Also, Wolverine refers to Scott as "Slim," but throughout most of the book
he's anything but...

I wonder how Wolverine would even know Scott's former (one issue!)
nickname?

In Storm's case I think it's on purpose ;-) ;-)

Claremont is not the first writer I've seen do this.  Morrison had hm do it several times.  First I recall seeing it used was in the 90s.  A few times the other originals called Scott Slim.

That I could see,  Wolverine I never could.  Why would Wolverine be calling him by a nickname he had as a teenager?  That was long before he knew him.

I'm surprised that Claremont did it here.  I don't remember him doing it before and he certainly wrote a lot of comics with Cyclops and Wolverine.

Despite her having one of Wolverine's claws bonded to her, I prefer the X-Men Forever version of Kitty to the "sexually active uncontrollable phasing when she orgasms" version that was in Joss Wheedon's Astonishing X-Men run.

What is it with writers who feel the need to have teenage superhero characters have sex?
