How the hell do you leave Colletta, Tuska and Giacoia off this list? Love them or not, they worked on more Marvels than 3/4 of the names mentioned.

People who worked primarily/exclusively as inkers are definitely underrepresented on the list.  Another would be Mike Esposito, a stalwart of the 60's and 70's.  And Giacoia surely belongs on the list.  I can see why they didn't include Colletta though.  Besides being a whipping boy of fans, his work was almost universally disliked by his peers.  Simply having a long career or doing a lot of work alone should not be sufficient for inclusion in a hall of fame.

The trouble with these lists is that the criteria are not consistent.  If having a large body of influential and significant work is the criteria, then it's ridiculous to omit Andru, Tuska, or Stern.  If you're including people with short but extremely influential runs then Brunner and Gulacy need to be on there just as much as Barry Smith or Ploog.  And it's hard to see how Chaykin, Wrightson, or Infantino deserve inclusion for their Marvel work.  And Larry Lieber... by all accounts he's an extremely nice guy, but is his work really Hall of Fame?

And there's too many new guys, too.  I'd be pissed if I was currently working at Marvel and didn't make the list... seems like their goal was to include virtually all their current staff.

Well,
. For a whole generation of kids, Ross Andru WAS the Spider-Man artist.

And even if he isn't thought of as a writer or artist, shouldn't Sol Brodsky be in the top 5 of Marvel's Hall of Fame? Even if you'd have to make an exception to whatever "rules" they used to select people, Sol Brodsky is the guy you break those rules for.

I said I wouldn't name any names but I have to mention one name that pops out (partly because it's spelled wrong): Joe Mardureira.  This guy worked on 3 titles for Marvel (only one of which was an ongoing), for something like 30 issues  and never had more than 5 issues published consecutively.

Yeah, real HoF stuff there...

Hell, considering some of the names on this list did so little amount of work
for Marvel, I'm surprised they didn't include the members of Kiss since they
supposidly printed their comic with their blood.

Sol Brodsky?  Definitely.  Same with secretary Flo Steinberg - she's a big part of the 1960's Marvel production process.

That was because of my amazing spelling and typing skills Paulo!  ;)

Born in 1969 so she was before my time. Although from what I've read in
Alter Ego most of you fan boys from the 1960's were in love with the
pretty lady.

That's what happens with these lists... there is always someone important that hasn't been included.

Roger Stern
Larry Hama
Priest
Howard Mackie
Keith Polard
Joe Kelly
Fabian Niceiza
Keith Polard
Ron Wilson
Dwayne Mcduffie
Ernie Colon
Denys Cowan
David Micheline

Rich Buckler
Bob Mcleod
Akira Yoshida
Whilce Portacio
Mark Texira
Javiar Saltarez (sp)
Paul Neary
Paul Mounts
Ann Nocenti
Dale Keown
Chuck Dixon
Larry Stroman

Yeah, Rick. It's easy to forget about Hama for some reason but considering his work ethic and how much friggin' money he made for Marvel, in addition to effectively creating (or at least defining) a pop culture phenemenon that lived on well beyond comics, he definitely belongs on this list.
