I like Mike W. BARR and Paul Gulacy but i consider them "DC people".

No one's mentioned Pat Broderick and John Bolton....

No Irving Forbush?

Seriously, Ross Andru's omission is glaring. Roger Stern also.

Is Ron Frenz there somewhere? Or Paul Gullacy? Or Pat Olliffe?
Who the *&$# are Daniel Way, Richard Isanove and Arthur Suydam?!?!?
This list is ridiculous.
As is the fact that they celebrate a non-birthday (Marvel isn't 70 years old!) and that about half the list is occupied by people working for Marvel less than 15 years! Even counting Marvel as 48 years old this is still wrong!

How the hell do you leave Colletta, Tuska and Giacoia off this list? Love them or not, they worked on more Marvels than 3/4 of the names mentioned.

The company that became Marvel is 70. They started in 1939 as Timely.

Kudos to Robert Bradley there for mentioning the letterers, without whom you'd be buying "silent" comics month after month, even though we're treated like the dirt on the shoe of the industry. Orz, for example, contributed a lot to the X-books, his absence was always noticeable.

These kind of lists... there will always be someone people think should have been included (or excluded). But this list misses out an awful lot of important Marvel creators, and includes one or two laughable ones, and as such I think it should just be viewed as nothing to be taken seriously.

Next to his Star Wars run it wasn't until recently that I've seen Chaykin do much Marvel work. A Hall of Famer to be sure, but I don't know if he is a Marvel HOFer. What other Marvel work did he do before now?

Too many "new" or current Marvel guys listed to be a legitimate HOF.

Chaykin did a few other things like Dominic Fortune and some graphic novels (Nick Fury and Wolverine), plus brief stints on Wolverine, War is Hell: Last Flight of the Phantom Eagle, Conan, Micronauts and Punisher: War Journal.  He also drew a couple of very early appearances of Killraven.

Star Wars is about the only thing that really jumps out as classic stuff though - and it made Marvel a ton of money from what I hear.

I have to think Roger Stern's omission is just an unfortunate oversight. Surely, there's not a question of his worthiness - the guy has a 30+ year career writing for Marvel, and his work on Spider-Man and the Avengers is legendary.

In all honesty, it's hard to take a Marvel Hall of Fame list seriously unless it includes Roger Stern.

I have to question whether Neal Adams belongs on this list. On an all-time Comic Book Hall of Fame? No question about it. But in my opinion, Adams simply didn't have enough work at Marvel to be considered a Hall of Famer.

Influence should perhaps be a factor in addition to longevity and volume.

I'll add my voice to the Stern & Andru bewilderment.

It's great to see Marvel honor the great talent of the company it stole it's name from.
