Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno played Banner and the Hulk. Why would Jennifer
Walters and She-Hulk have to be played by the same actor?

For contrast they could cast someone like Kirsten Chenoweth as Jennifer Walters. A charming 4'11' firecracker who turns into a 7 foot Supermodel/Superhero Lawyer.  As for actors and personality, I think She Hulk would be more like Lucy Lawless (although I'm not sure she'd be the best casting, she isn't that far away).  It's hard to imagine who to cast as She Hulk. She needs to be tall, fit, funny and have considerable range as an actress.

Whoa!  That word right there tells me why She-Hulk books were not successful runs, but generally speaking, female driven books normally had short running lives.  She-Hulk is not funny.  I think the character can be charismatic like in the GN Sensational She-Hulk but have her talking to the audience trying to be funny will just kill the movie.

She-Hulk is not funny in a Chandler Bings way, but she has a great sense of humor. Then, during JB's run, don't forget that it was the man himself who bring the worst situation and lame villains to her, getting the "fun".

Now, in a movie, you have 3 options.

Option A, choose a tall woman, in a Lou Ferigno way. Wich implie that this woman can play, cause she'll have dialogues. Anyway, you end with this.

Not sure.

Option B, you choose a real actress, and cheat on screen like in LotR to make her looks like being tall. Filmed near the camera and other actors far.  Wich limit interactions with other actors, except stuntmen, and don't forget that among thoses actors, some will have to be famous in order the movie to exist. So unless Wyat is played by Tom Cruse or Dustin Hoffman ...

Option C is what i think will be. CGI. Wich can bring the best or the worst. Best being final fantasy. So, stunt girl for mocap, and a famous voice over it, and to Hollywood : et voila !

Sound not that exciting.
The best would be an animation.

She Hulk is funny. Wry, witty, has a sense of humor. Not silly, wearing a clown nose and making bad Star Trek jokes, but a genuinely clever and witty woman. Any actress playing her should be able to handle comedy.

I don't know, she looks pretty good to me. IF she does have a few lines in her face that I usually don't notice, then they're very effectively obscured by makeup. I'm pretty sure makeup would be a pretty major factor on a film about a green chick anyway, so it's not really such a stretch.

Tyler wouldn't really be the best choice for Jennifer's human form, though. But when your talking beauty and an easy sense of humor, Tyler's name has to come up.

I for one like Dan Slott's She-Hulk as he went the funny route and broke the wall every so often too. I wouldn't go past his run. He brought the "funny" part of the book with him when he left.
