JB wrote... "I'd have a year of PLOTS."
You should get that checked out. Ba-dum-bump.
(Sorry but plots sounds funny to me. Like duty, or duties.
Can't help it)

Who is the
third child of the Hulk?
---
PAD wrote that the mother of the new, female Scorpion was a college fling of Bruce Banner's, implying that the Scorpion might be the daughter of Banner. It hasn't been stated definitively though.

Reading this thread is making me glad that I don't read the Hulk anymore!

What kind of action features do Marvel Toys have these days?
Dead-Beat Dad Hulk now with passing out drunk on the couch action
Enemy-Eating/Devil Dealing Spider-Man now with cutlery and "1 Peter Parker's Soul to Mephisto" note
All-Star Team Player & Resident Self-Parody Wolverine available in X-Force, Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Weapon X, and New Avengers team jersey's
It reminds me of the time when I was three and I had a Spider-Man figure with a web parachute. The figure was a solid, non-posable piece of plastic and I broke an arm off it trying to bend it down to his side. I cried a lot, but I was assured that there were other Spider-Man toys out there and I could get another one as soon as my mom had the money.
Except in this case, the "real" characters are being broken, and I can't find another Cyclops, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, or Reed Richards to replace them with.

Brad, some hilarious action figure ideas there! Well done! I especially enjoyed "resident self-parody Wolverine!"
For what it's worth, Jen herself isn't "broken" by what's taking place here as far as I can see. She's being sidelined. Nothing a solid creator with a year's worth of plots at his command can't fix.
Cyclops, Spidey, and Reed, well there you have a point... The latest issue of Amazing Spider-Man that I flipped through on the stand acknowledges the worldwide "memory-wipe" of Spider-Man's identity, so perhaps the creators are finally coming around to addressing the entire "Pact with the Devil" storyline. Or not... Of course, there's nothing to say they're going to deal with it well....
I think Jen's okay, though. We'll have to see what next issue brings, of course...

Shut up, you! After giving me a pretty cool issue with Spider-Man and Beast discussing mutant children, and a really kick ass Sinister Six story that screamed awesome at my 13 year old brain, you left my Spidey and I was forced to read through "Maximum Carnage." For shame, sir!
Never did find an issue of Savage Dragon past #4, but by then I was getting out of comics and the early Image stuff was barely available at my LCS. The shop it was well stocked at required me bribing my parents to drive me across town.

"Finding" She-Hulk in the Fantastic Four and her own graphic novel were very high points in my comic book collecting life and the abrupt departure of JB after issue 8(especially after seeing the cover for the next issue) was one of the low points.
Even after he came back, and did the Dallas inspired dream rift, I could never truly get over the 20+ issues that should have been. Why oh why couldn't Marvel just leave JB alone on some of these things? Between She-Hulk, West Coast Avengers, Hulk and XMHY I really thought there would be another FF-length run in there somewhere to savor. All cut short before their time.

Brian - the "Shut up, you!" is a sarcastic swipe at Mr. Larsen, not you, just so there's no misunderstanding.
And thanks for the praise! That's just the stuff that flowed naturally. If I thought for a minute, I'm sure I could think of an Iron Man with Backstabbing My Best Friend Armor, or She-Hulk with Juggernaut Mounting Action.
Huh. Those came out naturally too.
Joke Esada makes this too easy!

••
This would be the Bruce Banner who was so shy his head practically
exploded if Betty Ross so much as spoke to him?

For a loner and all-around social recluse, Bruce Banner seems to have quite the crop of illegitimate kids!

Well, most titles had a sporadic release schedule at best. So, that's understandable. The only early titles that were on time that I can recall were SPAWN and SAVAGE DRAGON. Then Lee released STORMWATCH and it stayed on schedule.
