Not one of my favorite characters but one heck of a commission. Just bubbling with energy. Congrats to the owner.

If Adam Warlock and Kismet took on a horde of giant ants... would that be Him and Her against Them?
No . . . . THEY !

Thanks for posting this image, Dan. It's one of my all-time favorite pieces by Kirby.

You're welcome, Jay. I posted it because it seemed to fit our discussion re: Kirby's work at Marvel and some of the frustrations he had. There's an interesting article about Kirby's Surfer in one of the issues of Jack Kirby Collector that addresses the significance of that panel and the Surfer's expression.

It is stated (in the Kirby Collector) that it was around issue #67 of Fantastic Four where the the great divide between Kirby and Marvel began.

Awesome commission! Love seeing JB's takes on characters that I do not necessarily associate with him. Does anyone have any good, representative scans of Adam Warlock when he was HIM? I know next to nothing about the character and Google'ng "Marvel" "HIM" etc. is not helping. Thanks!
