Is Man-Bat going on a date? I don't think I've seen him all dressed up before.

Mike - I made that Man-Bat from the original Neal Adams story I believe (it's been so long since I made it I forget the exact issue).

And put me down as another who would love to see an Essential Marvel Monsters!

Okay, show of hands, how many are as amazed as I am that the Heli-carrier, which seems like it was ALWAYS plummeting to certain doom, survived as long as it did?

I'm kind of partial to Dragon Man and Fin Fang Foom.

I also liked how JB used the Griffin (should've been called the Manticore) in Namor.

The "essential" version of Spider-man's foe, the Lizard, is for me the Not Brand Ecchh one by Marie Severin.

I have an affection for the Armadillo. I don't know why.

I like a lot of those guys. I'll toss in the Mauler Twins from INVINCIBLE
and the title charater from DOC FRANKENSTEIN.

That Incredible Hulk cover Ed posted is the first Marvel comic I ever owned. (That cover sort of gives away the ending to the comic, though; its a cliffhanger)

To answer the original question, though, my favorites would have to be Baron Blood, Solomon Grundy, the Glob, and the Abomination; of the giant monsters, I'd go with Groot and Fin Fang Foom)

I'm a sucker for Frankenstein Monsters of all kinds so:

Lucky Taylor (Weird War Tales, the Creature Commandoes)
Bizarro
The Nazi Frankenstein Monster (Invaders #31)
The Patchwork Man (Swamp Thing)
The Ramona Fradon Frankenstein Monster (Super Friends #10)
The Thomas Wayne Frankenstein Monster (Castle of the Bat, Elseworlds)

Seriously, have the hero fighting the Frankenstein Monster on the cover of your book, you pretty much have a guaranteed sale with me. Why, I dunno, but it's true...
